“Thank you.” is eight letters, two words, a mere two syllables, and two or three seconds of voice. Yet, the words land with relational weight; their reach and significance can loom large. In all relationships, the presence (or absence) of these eight letters makes a difference. In Great Marriage, they are a gamechanger.

I know it. You know it. We all know it. Saying, “Thank you.” Is a great practice within your love story. Yet, it can be easy to falter, to hesitate, to forget, and to fail at saying it. Withholding the words can become a bad habit.A bad habit to avoid.

In Great Marriage, we encourage you to say, “Thank you.” often and with sincerity. Take the time to authentically communicate gratitude or thanksgiving over simply checking the box. Let the words be meaningful rather than an afterthought, formality, or a meaningless sentiment. Make the decision for gratitude to be part of your ongoing heart attitude; let the words overflow from a heart of thanksgiving. Offer them like a gift. Intentionally deliver them.
