When it comes to ideas, projects, and those continual honey-do lists, your spouse is most likely looking for full commitment. 

In our office, we hear both the funny and the not-so-funny stories of projects abandoned half-way through, or ideas temporarily implemented.  The nearly finished project seems to lodge in long-term memory, and a lack of follow through can be a sore spot even if shaded in humor.
