Jumpstarting deeper, more personal communication in marriage can be a challenge particularly for couples who have allowed their interest in one another to wane.

In Great Marriage, we regularly recommend conversation starter cards. These can be purchased online or from many bookstores or gift shops. Our favorite pack is published by Focus on the Family and sells for under $10.00. (You can find them on Amazon). If you want to find another source, we do recommend you screen them, because there are some lewd or not-so-great choices.

However, with a little imagination or a decision to pique your curiosity within your relationship, you might come up with your own list of communication starters. Start with one and build upon it.
