Happy New Year!

January is a natural launchpad for all things new. From diets to budgets and exercise programs, the beginning of the year can be the beginning of new habits and ways of living. Culturally, we call these New Year’s Resolutions. Decision. Promise. Solution. Decree. These are synonyms for resolution.

A New Year’s Resolution means you’re promising or deciding to do something new for the next 365 days and maybe for a lifetime. Further, it can be something fun or essential.

As a counselor, I love hearing New Year’s Resolutions, and
