Within the daily routine of marriage, it can be tempting to keep score. In truth, it’s sometimes easier than most people would like to admit. Keeping score can be a silent, mental endeavor or the topic of conversation, either way it’s not typically productive relationship behavior. Here are some examples:
· I make the bed more often than you.
· I bought groceries last time.
· I fed the dog last night.
· I have cleaned the kitchen every night this week.
· It’s not my turn.
· It’s always my responsibility.
