Learning to Bite Your Tongue
In life and marriage, it can be hard to forego having the last word. It can be difficult to resist the lecture or the offer of unwarranted/unneeded advice. And it can be a journey to learn to bite your tongue in love. But all these things are necessary lessons and skills along the path of Great Marriage.
In a recent post, I wrote about my craving for French fries and John meeting that need. It was given as an example of meeting a need within healthy reason. Today, I’ll turn that same example into one of addressing communication and the discipline of choosing words wisely.
