Sometimes people work on the “me” in marriage. The me, myself, and I of problem solving, staying healthy, taking responsibility, communicating, and proactively changing. The “me” work involves all the personal, individual growth within the relationship. Healthy people engage in healthy “me” work.
Other times, people work on the “we” in marriage.
