Recently, I said this sentence in my brain:
I just piddled myself into being late.
I was so frustrated. I am not giving excuses, but I do know what happened. I was ready early with too much time to spare, and I got distracted piddling around with piddly types of things. Suddenly, instead of having time to spare, I was out of time. It happens. For me, here is a difference: early in life this would have been a norm, now it’s a rarity.
