Previously, I wrote about timeliness and the impact it has on marriage. To share time well – defining timelinessas a couple – requires intentional communication about habits, expectations, cooperation, and necessary change. In Great Marriage these conversations are pursued rather than avoided.
There are many marital issues that do not wax personal. This one does. There are more personal examples of conflict, frustration, and stress over timeliness than I care to admit or share. Like many couples, John and I had to learn to share time management; we had to pursue productive conversations on the subject; and we both had to change.
