On a work trip to Nashville, I learned that songwriters keep a journal of interesting words, ideas, and catchy phrases they refer to as Hook Books. Unsurprisingly, I could relate. Writers are always trying to find the words that seem to land and stick. In my life, journaling might be a love language, and I keep more than one writing journal.
